Our Teachers

Liliana Maddams

Liliana, the Principal of LA Talent School, started dancing at 8 years of age. She studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Singing and Acting and gained honours with distinction for her teacher’s certificate in all of these dance styles. Liliana has teaching diplomas with the British Ballet, Australian Teachers of Dance and the Royal Academy of Dance. At the age of 16, Liliana danced with the Queensland Ballet, touring for 6 months performing The Nutcracker, Swan Lake and Cinderella. On her return, Liliana attended a private college where she studied business management and business studies.

Liliana taught at LA Talent School for approximately 20 years. Now retired from dancing, Liliana runs LA Talent School and is involved in the production of a variety of children’s television shows.

Loren Espulso

Loren started dancing at 9, and from these early years, Loren knew all she wanted to do was perform.

She attended McDonald College of Performing Arts from 1992 to 1997 and Santa Sabina College at Strathfield from 1996 to 2000. Loren completed a Certificate IV in Performing Arts in 2001 with Brent Street, and since that time Loren has continued her education by completing other courses in the areas of Singing, Drama, as well as dance, at The Australian Institute of Music (2003) and NIDA (2004). She has also had the opportunity to work with industry legends such as Linda Nagel and Darren Mapes of Sing Over King (2004), and Faith Martin, a well know casting agent located in NSW.

Loren has performed at such events as the Sydney Olympics Opening Ceremony, Fox Studios opening and also has appeared in video clips, Television Commercials and a number of different Television shows. Loren was also seen in the top 4 for the channel V Presenter Search. After joining the La Talent School Team she is an inspiration to all her students and will continue to pass on her knowledge and create performers and an environment that will last forever.

Jet Valencia

Jet is a very passionate self-taught freestyle hip hop dancer who channels his emotions to express his unique character through dance. His Major Dance influences are Krump, Hip Hop and popping. Jet has been a member of some of Sydney’s top crews such as Dopplegangers, Equinox and Extended Element crew. As a freestyle dancer he has attracted the eyes of Sydney clubs and for 2 years now, Jet has been performing all over Sydney’s hottest hip hop clubs, such as Havana, Funky Buddah, Siren, Pump house, Art house, Gossip and many more. Jet has also competed and had made it to the season 2 of Channel 10’s So You Think You Can Dance Top 100. He has also opened for International Acts such as PITBULL, Blackstreet and many more and now currently teaching classes all over Sydney.

Jeff Jardine

Jeff Jardine has been playing guitar from the age of the 13. Since this early age, he’s had a natural ability and feel with guitar playing and this has seen his talent over the last 20 years evolve across various music genres, including rock, fusion, blues, soul and RnB. As a professional guitarist, he has become a sought after freelance player within the Sydney gig scene today. He has gigged frequently over the years around Australia where he has performed with artists such as Paulini, Marty Worrall, Sharon and Christine Muscat (S2S), Natasha Stuart and Glenn Cunningham. One of his bands has also supported and toured with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, as well as the Divinyls. He has performed countless corporate gigs from the Opera House, to Alice Springs to Tokyo, along with performing on the Morning Show on Channel 7. He also performs regular gigs around Sydney including The Basement, The Piano Room, Golden Sheaf and Marble Bar with some of Sydney’s finest RnB shows and cover bands, including his band “Revel”. He is also a Guitar Clinician for “Roland Corp Australia” demonstrating their latest guitar products as well as training people on how to use them. Jeff has also played on promotional videos for MI amplification (MI AUDIO) demonstrating their amplifiers.
